In November 2024, MovingGround Artistic Director, Krista DeNio collaborated with Iskra Shukarova choreographer, performer and professor at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University, FMU – Department for Dance Pedagogy in a residency in Skopje, North Macedonia where they co-taught a Site-Specific Performance making workshop to dance and theater professionals and community members at SCS-Centar Jadro followed by a performance featuring their shared research, in the MOT International Theater festival.
This project is supported by the GPS/Global Practice Sharing Program of Movement Research with funding from the Trust for Mutual Understanding.
This residency was also made possible thanks to Peter Sciscioli, and the International Interdisciplinary Artist Consortium.
