MovingGround will be participating in the 2025 Freedom Festival! MovingGround advisor and collaborator Lisa Aurora Calderon, and Artistic Director Krista DeNio will be co-facilitating a panel.
Freedom Festival is put on by improvscience, founded by Raquell M. Holmes, Ph.D. Events will be offered “from California to the New York Island”—in-person and online. These will include conversations about what freedom means to us, about justice and liberty, about Black activists and artists across history.
